What is this product?

Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Cleanser is the wash to pick if soap foams leave your skin tight: 150ml of a syndet blend acidified with citric acid, with only one pre-formed coconut soap far down its 38 ingredients and no fragrance or drying alcohol, so it cleans without pushing your skin alkaline. Do not buy it for the hydrators on the front of the box, because panthenol, three hyaluronate forms, sea water, ceramide NP and eight amino acids all sit below the point where the list stops telling you how much is in there, in a product you rinse off; the comfortable finish comes from the surfactants and the glycerin instead. Round Lab's own FAQ puts it second in a double cleanse after an oil or balm, and the two supplier tests a retailer cites, a 24 hour patch screen and a fine dust removal assay, arrive with no panel size, date or result attached.

What makes it different?

Two things separate it in its own aisle. First, the surfactant build: an isethionate-led syndet blend with an acyl glycinate and an alkyl betaine, plus citric acid, gives a weakly acidic wash without the scrub particles or the saponified base its nearest rivals lean on. Second, the supporting cast reads like a leave-on product, ceramide NP, three hyaluronate forms, eight amino acids, sea water, beta-glucan and phosphatidylcholine, assembled entirely in the part of the list that carries no amount information, on something that goes down the drain.
