What is this product?

Round Lab's Pine Calming Cica Cleanser is a 150ml soap-based foam that publishes what most rinse-offs never do: pine leaf extract at 1,020ppm, two centella extracts at 10.6 and 10.2ppm, and each of the four centella actives at 0.0102ppm. Buy it for oily, blemish-prone skin, since salicylic acid at 11 and capryloyl salicylic acid at 22 give it an acne tilt and retail listings attach a 여드름성 피부 완화 functional line to it. The tension is that the base is alkaline while the marketing points at sensitive skin, and salicylic acid works poorly above its pKa, so barrier-impaired skin that reacts to soap should not start here.

What makes it different?

The soap is right at the front: hydrogenated palm acid and potassium hydroxide sit third and fourth on the list, which is what makes it foam and what makes it alkaline. Against that, no fragrance and no drying alcohol are declared anywhere on the label, and the ppm figures for its soothing actives are unusually specific for a wash that rinses straight off. The honest read is a well-labelled soap for oily skin rather than the calming cleanser its 1,020ppm pine headline suggests.
