JUVELOOK PDLLA Refining First Essence

What is this product?
Juvelook's PDLLA Refining First Essence is an acid essence wearing a collagen name: it carries salicylic acid, capryloyl salicylic acid, glycolic acid and gluconolactone across 52 ingredients, while the polylactic acid in its title is disclosed at 1 ppb, roughly 0.0000001 percent. The exfoliation in a 150ml daily-use format is what the formula is built around, and the brand publishes no pH, which is what actually determines whether those acids work.
What makes it different?
Four acid classes in one leave-on essence, a BHA, its lipophilic LHA derivative, an AHA and a PHA, is a wider exfoliating spread than most first essences attempt. It has no oil phase at all, which makes it unusually light for its size. Fourteen peptide-family entries and beta-glucan sit behind the acids as the conditioning half. The salicylic acid and its derivative are the reason anyone pregnant should check this against current guidance first, and the undisclosed pH is the reason its strength cannot be predicted.
