What is this product?

An 80 ml moisturizing cream in a tube from the Korean brand ROUND LAB's black soybean panthenol line, sold on the brand's own storefront and filed as a wrinkle improving functional cosmetic. The 39 entry list prints black soybean extract at 10,000 ppm and panthenol at 2,550 ppm, with ceramide NP, ceramide AP, cholesterol and stearic acid, adenosine, squalane, a nut oil and fatty alcohols. No fragrance entry, essential oil or ethanol is printed. Citric acid is printed near the end of the list in a pH adjuster position. The copy's 50,000 ppm niosome panthenol figure does not match the printed panthenol level. Brand tests on 22 women report 120 hour moisture and lower water loss; a German patch test certificate names this cream. No English ingredient list appears on the surfaces collected. No lived use reports were collected.

What makes it different?

Next to the brand's landed birch moisture cream, which prints panthenol but no ceramide, cholesterol, squalane, oil or fatty alcohol, this cream is the barrier lipid option: two ceramides, cholesterol and stearic acid in a fatty alcohol base with squalane and a nut oil, plus printed levels for panthenol and black soybean extract and adenosine for a wrinkle functional filing. A brand scan found 38 landed records for this brand besides this one, none from the black soybean panthenol line. The trade-offs: a richer base for oily skin, and a niosome panthenol figure in the copy that the printed list does not match.
