What is this product?

Rejuran's Derma Healer Treatment Essence, 70g, is for skin that wants a silicone-smooth hydrating layer with a full amino acid complex, and it is a poor choice as the genuine first step its box calls it, because phenyl trimethicone is printed second of 40 ingredients and forms a film that later layers have to cross. Seventeen free amino acids run consecutively from twenty-first to thirty-seventh, and ceramide NP, cholesterol and palmitic acid close the list as a barrier lipid trio. Rejuran publishes no amount for any of it and no pH.

What makes it different?

Seventeen free amino acids in one product is the thing to know about it. Glycine, serine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, leucine, alanine, lysine, arginine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, proline, threonine, valine, isoleucine, histidine, cysteine and methionine run back to back through the middle and lower half, which is a deliberate reconstruction of skin's own natural moisturising factor rather than the one or two amino acids most essences carry. Behind them sits a ceramide NP, cholesterol and palmitic acid trio, which is the barrier combination the repair literature actually rests on. The counterweight is the base. This is a silicone-led formula, phenyl trimethicone second and amodimethicone eighteenth, so it feels slippery and smooth rather than watery and it does not behave like a first-step layer despite being sold as one. Mexican juniper oil sits twentieth, the one aromatic entry among the 40, and there is no declared fragrance and no denatured alcohol.

What is in it?

The full ingredient list as the brand publishes it, in the printed order. Each name links to what we know about that ingredient.

This brand publishes its ingredient list in Korean only. Names below are the matching INCI names from the Korean Cosmetic Association ingredient dictionary.

Key ingredient

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.

We could not place these in the list above: 멕시칸주니퍼오일, 호호바씨오일, 카프릴릭/카프릭트라이글리세라이드, 팔미틱애씨드
