What is this product?

Rejuran's Derma Healer Pore Tightening Ampoule, 30ml, is a five-acid exfoliating serum, worth it for congested skin that tolerates acids well and best avoided if skin is reactive or if pregnancy is a factor, because it carries both salicylic acid and capryloyl salicylic acid. Gluconolactone, lactic acid and glycolic acid sit ninth, tenth and fourteenth of 40 ingredients, with the two salicylates further down and witch hazel at eight. Rejuran publishes no amount for any acid and no pH, which is the number that decides whether an acid serum works, and bergamot, lavender and grapefruit peel oils sit in its bottom third.

What makes it different?

Five acids across four chemistries in one 30ml ampoule is the whole point of it, and it is more than most category rivals attempt: a PHA for surface humectancy, two AHAs for corneocyte loosening, salicylic acid for the follicle and capryloyl salicylic acid as its lipophilic slow-release cousin. That breadth is also the risk, because none of the five carries a disclosed amount and Rejuran publishes no pH, so the strength of the product is unknowable from the label. The soothing group placed against it, allantoin, calendula, aloe vera juice and yarrow, is real but unquantified too. One avoidance axis is easy to miss: bergamot oil, lavender oil and grapefruit peel oil all appear near the end of the list, and expressed citrus and bergamot oils carry photosensitising furocoumarins unless the supplier has removed them, which the brand does not state either way.
