What is this product?

PO:DL 2X Fresh Bam Balm to Foam is a 130ml balm that really does replace the second cleanse: it has both an oil phase that dissolves makeup and sunscreen and a foaming surfactant pair that lathers on contact with water, which is why its no-double-cleanse claim holds up. PO:DL also states a pH of 5.5 to 6.5, unusually specific for a balm, though that figure appears in a brand article on another site rather than on PO:DL's own page. The chestnut story is the weak part: the 32-ingredient list ends with an unlabelled 껍질추출물 that is never identified as chestnut, plus three acids at undisclosed amounts (citric, salicylic and capryloyl salicylic), and fragrance is declared, so skip it if you are sensitive, very dry or pregnant.

What makes it different?

Two things separate it on the cleansing-balm shelf. The dual-phase construction is mechanically unusual and is what earns its single-step claim a supported verdict where similar claims usually come out overstated. The other is the numeric candour of a stated pH range, tempered by that figure arriving through a third-party article rather than the brand's own domain.

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.

We could not place these in the list above: Palmitic Acid, 스테아릭애 씨드, Glyceryl Stearate, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Salicylic Acid
