What is this product?

Do not buy it for the peptides and collagen on the front: NACIFIC prints amounts for four of the 37 ingredients, and they show rice bran water at 1,000,000ppb (0.1 percent) against collagen extract at 10,000ppb, rice extract at 2,000ppb and tripeptide-1 at 0.64ppb, with eight more peptides at 0.05ppb each. Fragrance is ninth, so fragrance-reactive skin should skip it.

What makes it different?

Two things set it apart from the jar balms next to it. The second is that the disclosure works against the marketing. Korean ingredient labelling requires no amounts at all, yet NACIFIC prints four, and those figures are what let you see the rice ferment at 0.1 percent sitting two orders of magnitude above the collagen extract, roughly three above the rice extract, and more than six above every peptide in the product name.

What is in it?

The full ingredient list as the brand publishes it, in the printed order. Each name links to what we know about that ingredient.

This brand publishes its ingredient list in Korean only. Names below are the matching INCI names from the Korean Cosmetic Association ingredient dictionary, except 1 with no dictionary entry, left in Korean.

Key ingredientWorth a closer look

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.

We could not place these in the list above: 에틸헥실플미테이트, Isopropyl Myristate, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Triethylhexanoin, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate
