Ingredient analysis and how the ad lines read

What is this product?

Reach for this 50ml cream if dry skin needs sealing and calming at the same time, and skip it if you want a proven mark-fading result: madecassoside and ceramide NP are genuinely in the formula, but the brand publishes no amount for either and no test of any kind on this cream. It is filed with Korean regulators as a brightening functional cosmetic, which the niacinamide in eighth place out of 57 ingredients supports.

What makes it different?

Two things set this apart from a plain centella cream. First, the barrier side is real rather than decorative: squalane third, phytosterol twenty-first, ceramide NP forty-fifth, plus free stearic and palmitic acid, so it behaves like a lipid-replacement cream that also happens to carry centella. Second, the brightening angle is a registered regulatory status rather than a slogan, resting on niacinamide placed eighth. The catch is disclosure: the brand prints madecassoside at 540 ppm on its own serum in the same line yet gives this cream no figure at all, and four scent-bearing essential oils (cedarwood, patchouli, mugwort, rosemary) sit in a formula the brand recommends for sensitive skin.

What is in it?

The full ingredient list as the brand publishes it, in the printed order. Each name links to what we know about that ingredient.

This brand publishes its ingredient list in Korean only. Names below are the matching INCI names from the Korean Cosmetic Association ingredient dictionary.

Key ingredient

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.

We could not place these in the list above: 연필향나무오일, 광곽향오일, 불가리스쑥오일, 로즈마리잎오일, 카프릴릭/카프릭트라이글리세라이드, 세테아릴올리베이트, 솔비탄올리베이트, 솔비탄아이소스테아레이트, 해바라기씨오일, 호호바씨오일, 글리세릴스테아레이트, 스테아릭애씨드, 팔미틱애씨드
