What is this product?

Carenology's Reblue Ultra Repair Cream is a comfortable skin lipid cream that promises more than its label carries: squalane sits 6th and ceramide NP 28th of 35 ingredients, but there is no cholesterol and no free fatty acid anywhere on it, so it is a ceramide cream rather than the full barrier repair set. The brand's own line about no pilling under makeup all day runs against three film forming polymers on the same label, and no wear test is published. Five declared fragrance allergens close the list at 31 through 35, which puts it outside what reactive skin should trial.

What makes it different?

The emollient strategy is the interesting part: squalane and cetyl ethylhexanoate carry the slip at positions 2 and 6 rather than heavy butters, with safflower oleosomes at 18, an intact oil body rather than a pressed oil, which is an unusual raw material at this level. Ubiquinone at 30 and blue tansy at 20 give it an antioxidant and a calming axis most repair creams skip. What it is missing is the other two thirds of the barrier lipid trio, cholesterol and a free fatty acid, and what it adds instead is scent: two aromatic oils and five declared allergens on the 35 entry anchor this record counts from. That count is anchor bound rather than final, because Carenology's own set page prints a 29 entry block under this product's name carrying a third aromatic oil, bitter orange flower oil, which the anchor does not list; the two lists are disclosed as unreconciled rather than merged. No entry on either carries an amount.

Worth a closer look

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.

We could not place these in the list above: 쑥국화추출물(블루탄지꽃오일), 센티드제라늄꽃오일, 세테아릴올리베이트, 솔비탄올리베이트, 하이드로제네이티드레시틴, 잇꽃올레오좀, 호호바씨오일, 마카다미아씨오일

  • Oily skin with excessive sebum secretion is also a state in which the skin rhythm balance is broken. Carenology experts have found an optimal oil/moisture ratio suitable for oily skin that usually avoids cream due to high oil content.
