What is this product?

A 50 ml soothing serum with a whitening functional filing, and the rare case where the brand discloses enough for the name to be checked. 어성초 is the real thing here: 약모밀추출물, the statutory name for Houttuynia cordata, sits at panel position 10 of 51 with a printed 8,015 ppm, about 0.8 percent. TECA is the weak half. All four centella constituents are present, but three are printed at 0.082, 0.068 and 0.05 ppm, summing to roughly 0.2 ppm, and only 마데카소사이드 at position 27 is left undisclosed. The whitening filing is carried by 나이아신아마이드 at position 3, level undisclosed. The formula is clean on the usual irritation routes: no declared fragrance, no drying alcohol, no acid exfoliant, and the brand names institution, dates and subject counts for six separate human tests.

What makes it different?

The separator is disclosure. Korean labelling law requires no concentration to be printed, and this panel prints four, which is what makes the split verdict possible: the heartleaf half of the name is backed by a number you can check and the TECA half is undercut by numbers the brand chose to print itself. The second separator is the testing record. Six human studies are named with institution, date window and subject count, and a noncomedogenic evaluation of the finished product exists, which is stronger evidence than the raw-material comedogenicity tables that would otherwise flag the two esters. The third is practical: the brand publishes a full Latin-script INCI list on the same page as the Korean panel, item for item in the same order, so an overseas reader can cross-check the formula directly without a transliteration step.
