Round Lab Birch Moisture Cleansing Pad
Ingredient analysis and how the ad lines read

What is this product?
Round Lab's Birch Moisture Cleansing Pad is really a wipe-on essence that cleanses, not a remover: 60 pads, 210 by volume, on a glycol base you are told not to rinse away, with two polyglyceryl esters doing the washing and no sulfate, no soap, no betaine and no oil anywhere on its twenty-seven ingredients. That gentleness costs removal power, and Round Lab's own cited test shows it, because one of its four percentage endpoints leaves roughly a fifth of applied sunscreen on the face, which undercuts the unqualified makeup-removal wording on the same page. Two ingredients the marketing never names sit low on the list and stay on your skin: capryloyl salicylic acid, a keratolytic, and unbuffered ascorbic acid.
What makes it different?
Two things separate it. First, the cleansing system is entirely nonionic and entirely polyglyceryl, four polyglyceryl esters and one succinate solvent, with no sulfate, no soap, no betaine and no oil phase on the list at all, a build chosen for low irritation at the cost of removal, which the brand's own sunscreen figure demonstrates. Second, the deck is a leave-on deck in a cleansing format, three hyaluronate forms, glyceryl glucoside, panthenol, allantoin, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, biosaccharide gum-1 and birch sap, laid on by a pad that is never rinsed, so it behaves more like an essence than a cleanser. Round Lab cites a 한국피부과학연구원 human study without a panel size, a date or a protocol, the pad has two faces, embossed and smooth, and the product carries no functional-cosmetic registration. The printed list holds no fragrance compound and no drying alcohol either.
