What is this product?

FATION's NOSCA9 Trouble Clear Toner is for bumpy, congested oily skin and not much else: 200ml of water and diols with no oil at all, carrying a PHA (gluconolactone, fourth of 35 ingredients) and an LHA (capryloyl salicylic acid, twenty-eighth). The bumpy-texture claim has a real mechanism behind it, but the 청소 wording promises a pore-clearing action mild acids do not perform, and FATION publishes neither an acid amount nor a pH, which are the two numbers that decide whether an acid toner works. The label sanctions both a cotton pad and the palm as application routes. It also carries terpinen-4-ol, an isolated tea tree terpene that oxidizes into a known sensitizer group, so patch test it despite the label naming sensitive skin.

What makes it different?

Two different acid classes in one toner is the thing that separates it: a PHA for gentle surface turnover and an LHA that was developed specifically for micro-roughness, where most blemish toners carry salicylic acid alone or nothing at all. It is also completely oil free across all 35 ingredients, with no butter and no free fatty acid, which is rare in a blemish line. The costs come with it. There is no thickener and almost no humectant, so it leaves nothing behind and needs a real moisturizer after it, and the tea tree terpene plus a penetration-enhancing solvent third in the list make the sensitive-skin wording on the label harder to take at face value.
