What is this product?

Ma:nyo's Panthetoin Essence Toner is one of the more transparent K-beauty toners on concentration: it discloses 4,000ppm Panthenol and 1,000ppm Ectoin (the brand's Panthetoin pairing) inside a richer, emulsion-like 40-ingredient formula with Ceramide NP, Squalane and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, and no fragrance and no AHA, BHA, PHA or LHA exfoliating acid anywhere in either its Korean or English ingredient panel. Entries whose names end in acid do appear on both panels and none of them is an exfoliating acid: searched with the repo splitter, 애씨드 turns up in 하이드록시페닐프로파미도벤조익애씨드 at 21 and 하이드롤라이즈드하이알루로닉애씨드 at 33 on the Korean panel, and Acid in Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid at 12 and Hydroxyphenyl Propamidobenzoic Acid at 17 on the English one. An earlier version of this line named ascorbyl palmitate as one of that pair, which was wrong on both counts: it sits at 28 in Korean and 39 in English, and its name carries no acid. Where the marketing overreaches: the brand names a second trademarked complex, U-Oliosome, without ever stating which printed ingredient it refers to, cites no patent for either trademark, and offers no duration test behind its 'moisturized all day' line. Watch for one archive quirk rather than a real reformulation: three botanical names differ between the Korean and English ingredient panels (Queensland nut oil versus Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, and two herb extracts under their Korean versus Latin names), which the pipeline's own ingredient corpus and the shared 4,000ppm/1,000ppm figures suggest is a naming difference across the two panels rather than a different formula, though that reading is not confirmed by either official page itself. The two panels are also ordered differently throughout, so they correspond as sets of 40 items and not slot for slot.

What makes it different?

A K-beauty toner that prints exact ppm figures for both of its named actives (Panthenol 4,000ppm, Ectoin 1,000ppm) puts both hero doses on the panel, so each one is checkable from the label alone rather than only one of them or neither.

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.
