What is this product?

Illiyoon's Ceramide Ato Lotion is a fragrance-free barrier lotion in 350ml and 564ml pump bottles, sized for whole-body use, and the brand does something rare: it prints its ceramide amounts on the label, a pseudo-ceramide at 65.5ppm and Ceramide NP at 4.04ppm. Those are trace levels, so the ceramide story is true but small, though the lotion still carries cholesterol and phytosphingosine alongside them and no fragrance, drying alcohol or exfoliating acid anywhere on its 45 ingredients. Reviewers name spreadability, absorption and the absence of stinging.

What makes it different?

Read its headline numbers as claims rather than as results: 100-hour hydration, hydration down to ten layers of dead skin cells and 2.8 times faster hydration all appear with no method, sample size or testing body, the 100-person three-week allergy study, the 24-hour patch test and the vegan certification are named but never documented, and Illiyoon publishes no pH. What it does have going for it is a complete physiological lipid trio, ceramide, cholesterol and phytosphingosine, inside a large-format body lotion rather than a small face cream. If your face is oily or breaks out easily, note the four free fatty acids and several esters on the list before using it there.
