What is this product?

DEWYTREE High Amino All Enzyme Powder Wash is less gentle than its name promises: a soap, 포타슘미리스테이트, sits third on its 27-ingredient list, ahead of everything except the corn starch bulk and the one genuine amino acid surfactant, so what your face meets is an alkaline wash rather than an amino one. It exfoliates three ways at once, by enzyme, by 카프릴로일살리실릭애씨드 and by the scrub of 실리카 and 카올린, and four scented essential oils sit consecutively at positions 9 to 12.

What makes it different?

There are two reasons to read this label. First, unusually, DEWYTREE prints the amounts behind both of its headline stories: 1,000ppm in total for the 3종 효소 콤플렉스 of 파파인, 브로멜라인 and 프로테아제, and 100ppm of 소이아미노산 in the 50 g tub. Second, that same openness is what exposes the problem, because 100ppm of amino acid cannot outweigh a soap printed at position three, and 1,000ppm of enzyme is the only exfoliating figure you are given. Best for oily or rough-textured skin that wants a measured dry wash; skip it if your skin is dry, soap-reactive or sensitive to botanicals, or if you are pregnant.

What is in it?

The full ingredient list as the brand publishes it, in the printed order. Each name links to what we know about that ingredient.

This brand publishes its ingredient list in Korean only. Names below are the matching INCI names from the Korean Cosmetic Association ingredient dictionary.

Key ingredient

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.

We could not place these in the list above: Artemisia Vulgaris Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Juniperus Communis Fruit Oil, Ferula Galbaniflua (Galbanum) Resin Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid

Did the ad claims hold up?

We checked 4 lines this product advertises against the ingredient list and public documents. None of them hold up on their own. They are partly right at best.
