UIQ Biome Remedy™ Tone-Up Sun Cream

What is this product?

A Korean tone-up sunscreen from UIQ in a 50 mL tube, printed SPF50+ PA++++, with a violet correcting tint. Five UV filters are printed, one inorganic titanium dioxide and four organic, so the filter system is hybrid. The tint comes from ultramarine and red iron oxide over the titanium dioxide base, which is what makes skin read lighter and less yellow while the film is on. The statutory block declares three registered functions, UV protection, whitening and wrinkle care, and the list carries niacinamide and adenosine for the last two, with loadings undisclosed. Reproduced test summaries put SPF at 55.7 and UVAPF at 18.9. The 40 printed entries include no fragrance entry, no essential oil, no drying alcohol and no exfoliating acid; the one acid entry is succinic acid. No water-resistance claim is made.

What makes it different?

The violet shade of a two-colour tone-up line, and the difference from its green sibling is in the formula, not only the colour: a shorter 40 entry list, a violet pigment pair instead of green and yellow, and no centella group. The protection grade is backed by reproduced test figures on the brand page, while the photoaging and brightening claims print endpoints and footnotes without numbers, so the tint and the filters are the parts that stand on the label.
