What is this product?

Laneige's Gel Cream Skin is the lighter half of the Cream Skin family, built for skin that is oily on the surface and dry underneath, and it is a moisturiser folded into a toner rather than a watery first layer, so on combination skin one 170ml product can do the work of two steps. Read the efficacy figures with their design attached, because Laneige publishes it: the 59.32 percent oil-and-water-balance gain and the 45.34 percent sebum drop were measured immediately after applying the product on 33 women with no untreated comparison group, and the brand itself labels its four-week pore results (volume 36.05, area 31.89, density 22.01, count 21.97 percent) temporary.

What makes it different?

The ZincPep complex the name is built on maps to zinc gluconate, acetyl tetrapeptide-11 and hexapeptide-9, printed 32nd, 35th and 36th of 36, so the complex is a naming device and the actual calming comes from panthenol, ectoine and two licorice derivatives higher up the list. Nothing in those 36 entries is a fragrance, an essential oil, a drying alcohol or an exfoliating acid, but ethylhexyl palmitate is printed twelfth, which is the one entry congestion-prone oily skin should weigh before buying.
