What is this product?
A rinse-free cleansing water built on mild amphoteric and glucoside surfactants with panthenol, allantoin and urea for a soothing, hydrating cleanse. The hot spring water framing is not matched by the ingredient list, which starts with purified water, and fragrance is present.
What makes it different?
The surfactant system relies on Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine with Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside and Decyl Glucoside rather than harsher anionics, and skin-conditioning agents like panthenol, allantoin and urea sit in the top half of the list. A Candida ferment, a peptide (Heptasodium Hexacarboxymethyl Dipeptide-12) and several botanical extracts including soapwort and borago appear in the later half. No drying alcohol was found and no essential oils are listed. Concentrations and pH are not disclosed on the brand page.
