What is this product?

Beyond's Angel Aqua Ion Hyalu Double Barrier Moisture Cream is a genuine lipid-replacement cream rather than a ceramide name-drop: ceramide EOP, ceramide NP, cholesterol and free palmitic, stearic and behenic acids all sit on the label together, which is the combination barrier research actually uses. Hydration is disclosed too, at 8791 ppm of hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid in position eight of 63 ingredients. What Beyond never explains is the double in the name, so treat that as packaging language.

What makes it different?

Two ceramides plus cholesterol plus three free fatty acids is a barrier structure most creams at this level only gesture at, and shea butter with both palm fractions gives it real occlusive weight, which also makes it too heavy for anyone shopping for a light moisturiser. All seven hyaluronate forms carry printed amounts, from 8791 ppm down to 0.0001 ppm. Nothing here is fragranced or alcohol-dried and no pH is published. It ships as a 100ml one-plus-one that its own retail record breaks out as a jar and a tube, made and put on the market by LG Household and Health Care in Korea.
