Anua HEARTLEAF 87 LOW pH DEEP CLEANSING WATER
Ingredient analysis and how the ad lines read

What is this product?
Anua HEARTLEAF 87 LOW pH DEEP CLEANSING WATER is about as bare as a cleansing water gets: 500g, twelve ingredients, no fragrance and no conventional surfactant, with a citrate buffer holding the low pH and one mild glyceryl ester doing the lifting. It really does hold a Korean acne-function registration, but its printed label carries none of the recognised acne actives and Anua publishes no test behind the registration.
What makes it different?
An acne-function registration on a cleansing water is unusual by itself, and so is an ingredient list this short: fragrance-free, buffered rather than surfactant-driven, and readable at a glance. What Anua does not tell you is how to finish, since nothing it publishes says whether to wipe it off and stop or rinse afterwards.
What is in it?
The full ingredient list as the brand publishes it, in the printed order. Each name links to what we know about that ingredient.
This brand publishes its ingredient list in Korean only. Names below are the matching INCI names from the Korean Cosmetic Association ingredient dictionary, except 2 with no dictionary entry, left in Korean.

- Weakly acidic cleansers: how to tell when the label earned itOnly one of these five Korean cleansers publishes an actual pH range. The ingredient list tells you the rest, and one of them is a soap in disguise.
