What is this product?
A 60 g oil-continuous cream from the Korean brand SIDMOOL, built on zinc oxide at a disclosed 10 percent, aimed at calming individual spots and usable over the whole face or overnight. Twenty two ingredients, with jojoba and sunflower seed oils, a water-in-oil emulsifier pair, bentonite and metal stearates for structure, plus allantoin, tocopherol and a milk protein extract. No fragrance, no colourant, no silicone, no drying alcohol, and the lactic acid present is stated by the brand to be below any exfoliating level. Stated pH is about 6.8. The brand prints a four week, 21 subject study with comedone and sebum reductions, but that study covered this cream used together with two sibling products. Suited to dry or reactive skin wanting an occlusive calming layer; oily skin is steered to the sibling ampoule by the brand itself.
What makes it different?
The disclosed 10 percent zinc oxide is the whole product: a sunscreen-scale mineral load in a leave-on cream that makes no UV claim at all. The second differentiator is disclosure habit: the page states the pH, warns that the texture thickens and that cold storage makes water weep out, and says outright that its own lactic acid is present below a working level.
