What is this product?

A 160ml tube face wash from LOPOE, built on sodium cocoyl isethionate with coco betaine rather than a soap or sulfate system, so it lathers without the high pH that usually comes with lather. The statutory panel prints 31 ingredients and declares no functional cosmetic status. The brand carries two commissioned tests from a named institution: an irritation index of 0.000 on 30 subjects, and a post wash hydration reading on 20 subjects taken immediately after washing. Neither links a report. A separate 200 person panel survey and a set of raw material potency claims sit on the same page at equal visual weight, and the brand's own footnote scopes the ingredient claims to raw material properties. No INCI list, no pH figure and no certifying body for the vegan mark were found on the surfaces read for this record.

What makes it different?

Two things. The surfactant system pairs an acyl isethionate with a betaine and skips soap chemistry entirely, which is the technical answer to the lather versus pH tradeoff the brand names in its own copy. And the irritation result is a numeric third party finding on the finished product rather than a badge or a satisfaction score, which is rarer than the marketing around it suggests.
