- A rinse-off cleanser as a following step on days that included sunscreen or a long-wear base
- A leave-on humectant or emulsion applied without delay after the last pass
- Don't combine with
- A leave-on AHA or BHA exfoliant applied straight onto the wiped surface with no rinse in between
- Repeated firm passes with a dry or partly saturated pad over the same area
