Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun+

Ingredient analysis and how the ad lines read

What is this product?

Dr.G's Green Mild Up Sun+ SPF50+/PA++++ is a mineral-only sunscreen for skin that reacts to chemical filters: zinc oxide is the single UV filter, there is no organic filter anywhere on its 40-ingredient list, no fragrance, and none of the reef-listed filters (oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene). The proof is the soft spot, since Dr.G calls the zinc non-nano with no particle-size test to show for it and runs no official page of its own, so the SPF and PA rating rests on retailer labelling that at least agrees with itself.

What makes it different?

What is unusual is the density of named safety testing: allergy patch, general irritation, blue light, infrared and fine dust, each covered separately. Every one of those trials is small and commissioned by Dr.G rather than independent, so read them as the brand's own homework. Two other things to weigh: Dr.G says the formula was made milder, but two different ingredient lists circulate with no way to tell which came first, and the centella and Houttuynia cordata extracts sit late enough in the list to be minor soothing agents.

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.
