What is this product?

Dixionist's Amino Acid Ampoule is a 30ml Korean hydrating treatment with a registered brightening function, and the thing to know is that it hydrates rather than exfoliates. Twenty ingredients: niacinamide third, five humectants including polyglutamic acid eighth, one free amino acid at ninth, and three cholesteryl esters at thirteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth that form the visible liquid crystal particles the brand calls cholesteric capsules. No exfoliating acid, no fragrance, no drying alcohol and no oil anywhere on the label, the one acid being the polyglutamic acid that holds water. Good for dehydrated or reactive skin wanting a light brightening step, and one to layer a cream over, since nothing here seals the water it attracts.

What makes it different?

The cholesteric capsule is not a marketing coinage here: three cholesteryl esters sit together at thirteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth, which is the standard three ester route to a liquid crystal phase, and visible particles are what the one collected review topic label on this product names. Against that, the 25 percent amino acid solution that names the product cannot be located on the label at all, where the amino acid content is one free amino acid at ninth and one polymer at eighth. The brightening function is a registered filing resting on niacinamide third, with the percentage undisclosed.
