What is this product?
Dermafirm's Moisture Soothing Cream is a rich, occlusive calming cream with a real soothing panel: sodium guaiazulene sulfonate, centella, allantoin, panthenol and licorice derivative, plus sixteen free amino acids closing out its 64 ingredients. The reason to hesitate is in the same list, because 향료 is printed twenty-fourth, which is an odd thing to find in a cream sold for reactive skin, and Dermafirm gives no amount for anything.
What makes it different?
The sixteen free amino acids running to the end of the list are the unusual part: glycine, serine, aspartic and glutamic acid, leucine, lysine and the rest are natural moisturising factor components, and few creams at this size print the whole set. Sodium guaiazulene sulfonate is a more specific soothing choice than the usual centella-only approach, and it is here alongside centella rather than instead of it. The lipid side leans almost entirely on olive and coconut derivatives. It is fragranced, which separates it from most creams marketed to sensitive skin.
