What is this product?
Dr.twentyproject's 9 Toner does the hydrating and soothing it promises and none of the blackhead work: the label's 25 ingredients include five hyaluronate forms, panthenol at 4th and artemisia at 17th, but no salicylic acid, no other BHA, no retinoid, no clay and no niacinamide, so nothing in it has a mechanism against comedones or sebum. It is genuinely gentle, with no fragrance entry, no alcohol and no acid, and the brand cites a dermatologist-tested low-irritation test without publishing the institution, panel size or date.
What makes it different?
Five separate hyaluronate species on one 25 item label, sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate, potassium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, is a lot of one family and it is what the 300ml bottle is really built on. The other side of that is that nothing holds the water in: no oil, wax, ceramide, cholesterol or fatty acid appears anywhere, so this needs a moisturiser over it rather than working alone. No Korean ingredient list, no pH and no functional-cosmetic notice was found on any page read for it.
