Ingredient analysis and how the ad lines read

What is this product?

A sugar-scrub foaming cleanser whose first ingredient is sucrose, giving gentle physical exfoliation alongside a sulfate-free-style surfactant base, suitable for periodic surface smoothing.

What makes it different?

Sucrose sits at the very top of the ingredient list, above the primary surfactant sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, so the scrub function is built on a soft dissolving particle rather than shells or pits. The mid-to-late list adds four ferments and plant extracts such as pear fruit extract, neem leaf extract and willow bark extract. No added fragrance and no drying alcohol appear in the list, which is unusual for a foaming scrub. Concentrations and pH are not published on the page checked.

What is in it?

The full ingredient list as the brand publishes it, in the printed order. Each name links to what we know about that ingredient.

This brand publishes its ingredient list in Korean only. Names below are the matching INCI names from the Korean Cosmetic Association ingredient dictionary, except 1 with no dictionary entry, left in Korean.

Key ingredient

Ingredients with no mark are ones we found nothing notable about, and when marks overlap on one ingredient we show the caution first.

Did the ad claims hold up?

We checked the one line this product advertises against the ingredient list and public documents. All of them hold up.
