Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner

What is this product?

A 100 ml Korean toner with a seven entry ingredient list and no water in it. 황기뿌리추출물, astragalus root extract, is printed first, and 정제수 appears nowhere, which makes this one of the rare products whose central marketing claim can be settled by reading the label alone. The other six entries are functional: a multifunctional preservative, a humectant, a PEG silicone ether, and a hydroxyethylcellulose, carbomer and arginine thickening set that gives it a slightly slippery body rather than a watery one. What it does not have is any active, any acid, any fragrance material and any Korean functional cosmetic filing, which the brand's own statutory field records as 해당없음. Reasons to be careful: the brand's detail images assert a 24 hour hydration clinical test and a pore area and volume tightening test and disclose no method, sample size, institution or date for either, and the seven entry list carries no recognised pore mechanism.
