Ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Milk

Ingredient analysis and how the ad lines read

What is this product?

A Korean milk cleanser from Ma:nyo in a 200 ml size, anchored to the brand's United States storefront, where it is listed but sold out. The brand's ingredient list is an oil in water milk: water, milk extract at a printed 8.1 percent, butylene glycol, glycerin, then an ester, an ethoxylated sorbitol oleate and sunflower seed oil, with glucoside emulsifiers, panthenol, allantoin and sodium hyaluronate. It ends with jasmine and ylang ylang flower oil; no fragrance entry, no exfoliating acid and no sulfate or soap cleanser is printed. That list has print faults and one surface lists the jasmine entry differently, so no ingredient column is filled. Claims of gentle, irritation free cleansing carry no test. The Korean statutory list was not obtained.

What makes it different?

A disclosed level for its named ingredient, milk extract at 8.1 percent, set in a nonionic oil in water milk. Against the brand's soybean cleansing milk it swaps the soybean and ceramide set for milk extract and closes with two essential oils.
