What is this product?

A 150 g Korean foaming cleanser from 이니스프리, built as a potassium soap of myristic, lauric, stearic and palmitic acids and sold on bija seed oil and BHA. Thirty three ingredients: glycerin second, willow bark extract fifteenth, menthol sixteenth, bija seed oil eighteenth at a disclosed 1,000 ppm, salicylic acid thirtieth, plus nine essential oils and two declared fragrance allergens. The statutory notice is complete and its functional cosmetic cell is a hyphen, and the marketing makes no functional claim to contradict it. The exfoliation story is the weak part: an acid at position thirty in an alkaline soap that is rinsed off. The brand cites an outside laboratory survey of twenty two women, reports it accurately once and misattributes it once. Suits oily and combination skin; the menthol and essential oil load is the reason sensitive skin should look elsewhere.

What makes it different?

Two things set it apart. Its statutory layer and its marketing layer agree, with the functional cosmetic cell filled with a hyphen and no functional claim anywhere in the copy, which is the opposite of the common pattern. And its headline mechanism is the one that the formula is least able to deliver: salicylic acid thirtieth of thirty three, in a potassium soap that is alkaline by construction, in a product designed to be rinsed off in under a minute.
