What is this product?
A watery hydrating toner from Torriden in a 300 ml bottle, sold domestically and through the brand's own global store. The 20 entry list leads with water, butylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol and glycerin, and carries five hyaluronate species in a run at positions 11 to 15, one of them printed at 100ppm on the Korean label. Betaine, allantoin, panthenol, a purslane extract and trehalose fill out the humectant and soothing block, and a malachite extract sits near the end. There is no oil, wax, butter, fatty alcohol, acid, alcohol or fragrance entry anywhere on the list. The brand publishes a six week patch test on 50 people reporting non irritant, plus smoothness, hydration and sebum figures measured immediately after use on panels of 22 and 20. No pH value is printed.
What makes it different?
Five separate hyaluronate species in one run, which is what the 5D label on the bottle actually resolves to on the printed list, with one of them carrying a printed 100ppm on the Korean label while the other four carry nothing. Against that, the formula has no occlusive, no film former and no oil of any kind, and every efficacy figure the brand publishes was measured immediately after use, so the open question is not what it does on contact but what remains an hour later.
